Irina Treasa Jomy is a third semester B.Sc. Defence and Strategic Studies student at Rashtriya Raksha University, Karnataka Campus. Her research interests include national security, geopolitics, strategic studies, cyber warfare, artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, maritime security, and regional security. She has a particular interest in the shifting nexus of technology and national security, including AI-enabled cyber warfare, geopolitical trends, strategic alliances, and the security impact of emerging technologies. She has presented her research on deterrence theory in cyber warfare at a criminological conference in Navi Mumbai.

Split Nguyen is a Vietnamese journalist specializing in Vietnamese politics and political strategy, with a focus on elections, governance, public policy, and the political dynamics shaping Vietnam’s institutions and democratic processes.

Aarthi DE

Author

Aarthi DE completed her BA in Defence and Strategic Studies from Erode Arts and Science College, Tamil Nadu. She is currently pursuing an MA in Defence and Strategic Studies at the Central University of Jammu (2025–2027).

Saksham Shukla

Author

Saksham Shukla is a B.Sc. Defence and Strategic Studies student currently in 3rd semester with academic interests spanning geopolitics, national security, strategic affairs, international relations, and emerging security technologies. His work and research interests include India’s strategic autonomy, geopolitical competition, defence and security policy, AI and national security, space security, cybersecurity, energy security, and geoeconomics. He has engaged in research and analytical work examining contemporary strategic and security developments, with a particular focus on their implications for India. His current commentary, “Strategic Autonomy in the Age of Weaponised Interdependence: India’s Geopolitical Dilemma,” reflects his broader interest in understanding India’s strategic choices within an increasingly interconnected and contested international order.

Herumb Choureya

Herumb Choreya is a Cybersecurity Undergraduate at the National Forensic Sciences University with a focused primary interest in OSINT/Intelligence and National Security. Over the past 2 years, he has independently engaged in tracking and analyzing extremist/terrorist network behaviour within Indian cyberspace.

Chloe Premat

Chloe Premat is a French graduate student pursuing a Master’s degree in European and Global Studies, specializing in Geopolitical Challenges, at the University of Padua, Italy. Her academic interests focus on international relations, European affairs, strategic autonomy, and emerging geopolitical challenges. At CeSCube, she contributes to research and analytical articles examining contemporary security, political, and technological issues. Through this experience, she aims to strengthen her research and analytical skills while developing a deeper understanding of global strategic dynamics and the challenges shaping Europe’s role in an increasingly interconnected international environment.

Akash R. is an undergraduate student of Defence and Strategic Studies at Rashtriya Raksha University, Karnataka Campus, Shivamogga. His academic interests include national security, regional security, Indian foreign policy, maritime security, intelligence studies, and geopolitics. He is particularly interested in understanding emerging security challenges in South Asia and the Indo-Pacific, with a focus on India’s strategic interests and regional cooperation.

Her academic interests include international relations, strategic affairs, public policy, and governance. Faiza Mudassir

Faiza Mudassir is a fourth-year Economics (Honours) undergraduate student with Political Science as a minor, which has fostered their interest in public policy, international affairs, and the intersection of economic and political developments. Their academic background has encouraged them to approach issues through an interdisciplinary lens rather than viewing disciplines in isolation. They are passionate about research and have authored multiple research papers and published articles on a range of topics. Alongside policy-oriented research, they are also interested in market and corporate research, particularly in understanding how economic, political, and business dynamics shape decision-making and development.

Moumita Arun

Moumita Arun is a sophomore at Symbiosis School for Liberal Arts, currently double majoring in International Relations and Economics. She situates her research interests at the intersection of these two fields, specifically in terms of cultural studies, gender, and security. She has hands-on experience in research and community engagement, contributing articles to campus publications, moderating international panels, and working on service-learning projects focused on education, gender equity, and access.

Mukund Menon is a postgraduate in International Studies from Christ (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, and holds a triple-major undergraduate degree in English, Political Science, and History from the same institution. His academic interests centre on International Relations, geopolitics, strategic studies, and history. He is passionate about research and academic writing, with a particular focus on contemporary global affairs, foreign policy, and emerging geopolitical dynamics. He served as a Research Intern at the SAARC Secretariat, Kathmandu, in 2025, where he engaged with issues related to regional cooperation and South Asian affairs. Through his scholarly pursuits and writings, he aims to contribute analytical perspectives to discussions surrounding international politics and the evolving global order.

Rishika Robert

Rishika Robert is a Public Policy post-graduate from St Xavier's College (Autonomous), Mumbai. She also holds a double-major undergraduate degree in Political Science and History from Sophia College (Autonomous) and currently works as a visiting lecturer of politics across colleges in Mumbai. She takes keen interest in the history of geopolitics and international statecraft that shapes the contemporary strategies of states and non-state actors. She also seeks to dive deeper into political thought and contribute to academia through the application of theories in understanding the existing ways of the world.
