Based on general data, the article makes some predictions about the future development of electronic information websites, taking into account the development of science and technology.
In the past, people received information mainly through mass media such as books, newspapers, magazines, radio, cinema, television, and telephones (ordinary phones often provide functionalities). voice calling, text messaging). Nowadays, people's habits of receiving and processing information have changed a lot and are increasingly dependent on methods of providing information based on digital platforms.
According to the Digital 2023 Global Overview Report [1], there are 5.16 billion internet users in the world, accounting for 64.4% of the current world population. The total number of global internet users increased by 1.9% compared to 2022; Working-age people spend an average of 6 hours and 37 minutes a day using the internet; Search engines or web portals are widely used (81.8%). In Vietnam, the population is 98.53 million (as of January 2023), there are 77.93 million Internet users in Vietnam (accounting for 79.1%), an increase of 7.3% compared to 2022 [2]; People of working age spend an average of 6 hours and 23 minutes a day using the internet, etc. In that context, electronic information websites are an information provision channel that has received a lot of attention.
